Stafford Furniture Exchange provides low cost furniture and household items to people in Stafford & District on low incomes or who are in receipt of income based benefits.

Who can use the service?
Anyone who is in desperate need of furniture and can’t afford to buy new due to being on benefits or in receipt of tax or pension credits. Proof of benefits etc will be required. Click on ‘Who is Eligible’ link.
Where does the furniture come from?
The furniture we supply has been donated by members of the public and is of a consistently high quality.
How do I get furniture?
Clients may be referred to us by one of our agencies but self referrals are accepted where proof of identity and eligibility to benefit is proven. Over 100 caring organisations are registered with us and are able to refer clients to us. Click on ‘Referral Agencies’ link for a list of participating organisations.
Can I reserve items?
We cannot reserve items of furniture.
How much will it cost?
We aim to supply things as cheaply as possible, our referral agents are supplied with a list of our base prices. As a non - profit making organisation the money received goes towards the day to day running of the charity.
How do I pay?
Payment is made at the time of choosing items. We accept cash only.
Can I get it delivered?
We will deliver your furniture at the earliest mutually convenient date. There is a delivery charge of £15 within an 8 mile radius of Stafford town centre.
How often can I come for furniture?
A Furniture Request form stays open for a year after your account is open. During that time you can return as many times as you like. A further Request Form will be required after this time.
